Why OPTIMUS?

1

Your long-term health can be made a priorit

Physical Therapists are experts in many areas of wellness. Working in a high-volume clinic where the clinic is required to see a minimum number of patients takes away from the time your therapist has for you. This delays your recovery and ultimately takes away from holistic and well-rounded care.

Take this into consideration. What sounds more appealing to you?
  • You see the same PT every session.

  • Your PT will plan for your treatments.

  • Your PT will go the extra mile, making your plan of care a priority.

  • Our Physical Therapists are well-trained to fit your specific needs.

  • At OPTIMUS, we will be there as wellness partners to help you at any stage in your fitness journey.

OPTIMUS PHYSICAL THERAPY:

High-volume PT clinics:

  • You see your evaluating PT infrequently, approximately ¼ of the time.

  • You are typically placed on warm-up equipment for at least 8 minutes of your 1-hour session.

  • Less time is spent with your evaluating Physical Therapist.

  • Oftentimes there are rotating contractors and new hires in and out of the clinic, i.e. “turn and burn” model of Physical Therapy care.

What You Can Expect With OPTIMUS PT Plans
vs
Going Through your Insurance Company

At OPTIMUS, we are performance-centered Physical Therapist. This means we are focused on providing you with a quality health care experience tailored to your performance related needs. During your treatments you can expect to have 55-65 minutes of one-on-one care provided by one of our Doctors of physical therapy: Blake or Dylan. We are specialist in understanding how the body moves throughout all sports and activities and whether you need physical therapy exercises, dry needling, cupping, or any of our other treatment approaches we will be with you step by step on your recovery journey to reach your performance-related goals! You can expect us to be upfront with our pricing so that you don't get hit with an unexpected bill at the end of your treatment. We always plan for our clients so that we provide the most direct and timely treatments.

At a typical high-volume insurance based PT practice you would be met with long wait times and a corporate, impersonal system. You would most likely be stuck between two other patients at any given time and you may see several different physical therapy providers or untrained assistants throughout your care journey. Not to mention you will be bothered with being over scheduled in the clinic, taking more of your time to rehab your injury or reach your goals.

An average day going to this type of clinic would look like: you walk in your generic, mill-like PT clinic with the phone ringing every 10mins and people complaining about their insurance coverage or a bad experience they just had and then you go to receive care from your new therapist for the 4th visit in a row who spends approximately 10-20 minutes total of direct one-on-one care with you and out of your "1 hour treatment" you've experienced doing the following: 10minutes on warm-up equipment, 10minutes of ice/heat, 10minutes waiting on someone to tell you what to do, 10 minutes doing exercises from an untrained tech or aid and a puny 15 minutes of skilled care from your doctor. So you make the decision.
